Friday 26th August, 2016

New Focus correspondents confirm that the North Korean official who defected early this month in Vladivostok, Russia using his diplomatic passport was a trade representative who worked in Kim Jong Un’s slush fund department, Room 39, in the Daesung General Bureau. He was the manager of the division in Vladivostok. He is only identified as Kim.

Mr. Kim had only been appointed manager of the Vladivostok division less than a year ago, and had defected with his family.
